Adam Rippon (born November 11, 1989) is an American figure skater. He is the 2010 Four Continents champion, the 2008 and 2009 World Junior champion, the 2008 U.S. junior national champion, and the 2007 Junior Grand Prix Final champion.

Personal life 个人生活：
Adam Rippon was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania. He started to skate at age ten because his mother skated and brought him along to the rink. He is the oldest of six children. He switched coaches in fall 2008 and moved to Canada for training under Brian Orser.

2007-2008 Season
In the 2007–2008 season, Rippon competed on the 2007-2008 Junior Grand Prix circuit. At his first event, the Harghita Cup in Miercurea Ciuc, Romania, he won the gold medal. He then won the silver medal at the Sofia Cup in Sofia, Bulgaria. These two medals qualified him for the 2007-2008 Junior Grand Prix Final. At that event, Rippon won the gold medal, and became the first man to break 200 points at a Junior level competition.

He went on to the 2008 U.S. Figure Skating Championships, where he won the Junior title. This earned him a trip to the 2008 World Junior Figure Skating Championships, where he became the second American man in a row to win the title, after Stephen Carriere, and the first man in years to win that title without attempting a triple axel jump.

2008-2009 Season
Rippon moved up to the senior level in the 2008–2009 season. In the 2008–2009 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating he was assigned to compete at the 2008 Skate America where he placed eighth, and the 2008 Cup of Russia where he placed third in the short program and fifth overall.

He won the competition overall, scoring 222.00 points, becoming the first single skater to win two World Junior Championships[3].

During the off-season, Rippon performed in various ice shows, including the 2009 Festa On Ice and the 2009 Ice All Stars, both held in South Korea and headlined by his training mate Kim Yu-Na. He also toured in Japan.

2009-2010 Season
For the 2009-2010 season, Rippon was assigned to two Grand Prix events. At the 2009 Trophée Eric Bompard, he landed a triple flip-triple toe loop combination, a triple axel and a triple lutz in the short program and placed third in that segment of the competition[4]. In the free skate, he landed a triple flip-triple toe loop combination, a triple axel-double toe loop combination, a triple loop, a triple axel, a triple lutz, a triple lutz-double toe loop-double loop combination, a double axel and a triple salchow to place third in that segment of the competition[5]. Rippon won the bronze medal with a total score of 219.96 points.

At the 2009 NHK Trophy, Rippon placed eighth in the short program with a score of 67.15, after falling on the triple axel. He placed fifth in the free skate with a score of 130.46, completing seven triples including the triple axel in combination[6]. Rippon placed sixth overall with a total score of 197.61 points.

Rippon was assigned to the 2010 Four Continents Championships[8].

Coaching changes
Rippon changed coaches following the 2007 United States Figure Skating Championships from Yelena Sergeeva to Nikolai Morozov.
In late November 2008, Rippon left Morozov. In December 2008 He moved to Toronto, Canada to begin being training with Brian Orser at the Toronto Cricket, Skating & Curling Club.[10] Rippon officially announced his coaching change on January 2, 2009.

Signature moves
Rippon's signature move is a triple lutz that he executes with both arms on his head, popularly called the "Rippon Lutz".[12] He is also one of the few men able to do a donut spin.

最近去围观甜心的fb，发现他身边的姑娘都非常的美国化，哈哈哈~（这句是废话，人家那些姑娘本来都是米国人的说）女王应该是不符合他交往对象的标准吧~（太东方，哈）
我觉得女王太强势，甜心太甜蜜，这两个人不太搭，（从foi的幕后片花可以看出来，陈方向tx对女王那是相当的有企图啊，甜心都是打酱油）哈哈哈，主要是，女王肯定会对甜心颐指气使，不要啊，千万不要！！！！
脑补一下小眼睛大叔李明博说甜心阿当是韩国人思密达，汗毛都竖起来了，恐怖到无以附加……

其实我觉得这套服装可能要表达的是更深一层的涵义，这本书（电影）故事的大意是一只不安于平庸的海鸥，它终生的快乐就是学会飞翔，它因此而遭到族群的惩罚，在悬崖边过着离群索居的生活。但对于飞翔的热爱令他坚持不懈，他终于碰到了一群志同道合的海鸥，也在不断的飞翔学习中接近着心中的天堂。作者以飞翔为隐喻，向读者们阐释了梦想和奋斗以及爱与宽容的意义。

服装设计可能也从中找了一些灵感吧，上衣这个橄榄色和渐变色，仿佛是在逆境中看到的希望。个人观点^_^ 话说我越看越觉得这小子很帅，白白净净的，好清秀的娃~居然还比我小几个月？！[em80] 鸡冻的火速进来留名。[em91] 摸脸同学终于有转帖了，好爱他这赛季的SP，都不知道看了多少遍了。

我倒是对他这套服装不反感，上身的装饰给人感觉飘逸、灵动，让人联想到大海、波浪、绿草。
第一个旋转之后的那套直线步那个美啊！！[em91] 他的3A还需要加强，原因就是他这个跳的高度还不够（但是勾手的高度我觉得还是很可观的）
对节目的情绪执行很好，没有过分用力的感觉 原来大家一直说的摸脸就是这位小朋友啊，年纪也不算小了，不过看起来还很嫩，是不是因为卷毛的原因呢。 噗，十八摸……

不知是不是心理问题，看他跳Lutz得心应手，高度也足够，说明爆发力是有的，可能学滑冰晚，尤其是3A这样的难度动作，到18岁才刚开始学，恐怕心理上有一定顾虑。希望他能逐渐放开吧。 回复 20# lxy_1904

不过听说，越晚上高难度，越不容易受伤，因为骨格什么的都发育完成了
